PositionPURPOSE OF THE ROLEWorking closely with Head of PR, develop, plan and execute a long-term editorial strategy for the UK and Irish markets across print and online platforms ensuring alignment with International guidelines. ProfileKEY RESPONSIBILITIESDEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT THE PCD MEDIA STRATEGY Devise a plan to support star launches, corporate stories and local activities to ensure the right fit and increased visibility for the brandSupport all International initiatives with a strong media strategyIdentify opportunities for the brand and implement bespoke initiativesCollaborate with Central team to leverage and share best-practice DEVELOP KEY RELATIONSHIPS WITH MEDIA PARTNERS Maintain and develop strong press contacts with national, mainstream, niche and online titles, and within the beauty industryAct as frontline representative for the company for incoming media inquiries SECURE AND INCREASE VISIBILITY OF PCD VS COMPETITION Ensure targets are met on DMR and LVMH Media; #1 in print and onlineMaximise visibility on PCD (fragrance, makeup, skincare and corporate) in close collaboration with all departments within the UK and Central teams for both print and online activitiesGenerate standalone features, shoots, interviews and video content, working collaboratively with the media to ensure Dior storytelling is optimised Manage the makeup artist programme and seek out beauty shoots within mainstream and ?image? titles for the full yearWork closely with the Influencer PR Manager to activate digital stories on Influencer ?Friends of the House? OTHER Support Head of PR with the planning, organisation and execution of press trips and events for DiorCo-responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Press Office Raise awareness and promote the brand image through UK & Ireland in line with the brand?s business objectives Shared responsibility for the day-to-day management of the PR Assistant, including developing performance, setting measurable objectives and KPI?s Liaise with Marketing teams to develop launch plans and communicate PR objectivesAct as a brand guardian; drive networks inside and outside of the beauty arena to expose the brand to the most influential endorsementsSupport Marketing with regional editorial support for local events to create excitement Closely control the PR budget ensuring efficient raising of PO?sBuild, maintain and manage relationships with Dior Couture Compile monthly evaluation and analysis reports, extracting figures from DMR and LVMH databasesOversee the ordering of pre-series, catalogue stock and corporate materials for press Additional informationPERSON SPECIFICATIONKey Competencies Proven experience working either in-house or with an Agency for a luxury brand (5+ years)Strong knowledge of current brand campaigns within the industryPersonal affinity with brand and productsInnovative and creative thinker able to develop new ways to tell the brand?s storyProven record of successful relationships with the UK PressInternational / Cross Functional experience an asset but not essentialPerfect written and spoken EnglishExcellent organisational, time-management and budget management skillsDrive and resilience to deliver resultsMature, confident and persuasive individual who is at ease with both senior management and external stakeholders Technical SkillsCapability to understand and defend brand DNA CreativityStrong analytical skillsStrong communication skillsGeneral I.T.
