Regular international travel (Europe) will be required (up to 20% per quarter), including overnight stays, so ideally you will be based within commuting distance of an international airport. *How will you make an impact?*As part of the broader Portfolio Management [PM] Team, you will tactically execute initiatives and lead supplier relationships, essential for the delivery of your program. This role has a requirement to onboard suppliers, ensure their effectiveness within our offering and maintain validity to satisfy our customers? needsYou will work with cross-functional teams as the need arises by your Program, to identify, explore, and crystallize product and market needs so that they can be developed into a complete offering, which we can market to grow our customer base.Through in-depth regular analysis and market feedback make recommendations to optimize and develop the portfolio and unlocking further potential with new suppliers.This role is reporting into our Program and Production Solutions Manager ? Portfolio Management Europe and is part of a recent crafted Program portfolio with steep revenue targets. This should encompass supplier onboarding, portfolio expansion and portfolio maintenance. This includes working with relevant members of the PM team to ensure that items their portfolio but also critical to your program are understood and handled through normal PM standard processes.* Regular supplier performance review* Execution of the strategies that will drive revenue and profitability growth of the product being considered for your program* Monitoring of the progress in a suite of Smartsheet dashboards that report on the business, lead workflows and display performance and efficiency in driving results.* Facilitate relationships at all levels of the suppliers? and our organization.*How will you get there?**Experience & Qualifications:** Bachelor?s degree in business, or a scientific field; An advanced degree in business or science is preferred* Several years? of lab industry experience, preferably in a commercial or portfolio/product management role* Ability to convey sophisticated matters simply in documented formats* As a slide presentation* As a written document* As an SOP or manual* Ability to deliver messages convincingly in a formal presentation to a group* Problem solving / can-do attitude* Excellent interpersonal skills in influencing and leading or coordinating cross-functional project work* Project planning qualifications or experience* Broad knowledge of laboratory equipment, instrumentation and consumables* Familiarity with major laboratory supply brands, both internal and external to the company* Ability to work under tight deadlines and demonstrate flexibility with priorities* Excellent presentation skills* Fluent in English, written and spoken* Willingness to travel 10-20% of time to facilitate team meetings or project execution or training*What?s in it for you:** Excellent career progression opportunities with a large and growing global employer* Competitive salary, plus annual incentive bonus* Full benefits package (specifics will depend on country of hire)*About US*Our Mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.
