EIT RawMaterials, a Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) funded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology is the largest and strongest consortium in the raw materials field globally. The community is now in its fifth year of full operation and consists of more than 300 partners, drawn from industry, research organizations and universities from the EU Member States. The activities of EIT Raw Materials are executed throughout the European raw materials ecosystem and are driven by six transnational Innovation Hubs, coordinated by the headquarters located in Berlin.
EIT RawMaterials supports activities that strengthen Education, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the raw material sector, and that does cover the entire raw materials value chain to create a significant impact
Specifically, EIT RawMaterials actively participates in the development of professional training courses that aim to re-/up-skill the existing workforce in strategies EU sectors. EIT RawMaterials is currently recruiting an E-learning Coordinator (m/d/f) whose objective will essentially be to run the RawMatCop Academy courses on earth observation for the raw materials sector. This revenue-generating activity will support EIT RawMaterials? organizational transformation towards financial sustainability.In this position, you will be responsible to:
Organise the RawMatCop Academy online course, and deliver the sessions acting as ?master of ceremonies?,
Liaise with the trainers, help them prepare and adapt the learning material for bespoke or regular sessions,
Coordinate the day-to-day administration and logistics of the scheduled virtual classrooms and online training courses (client support, participant registration, invoicing and payment follow-up, prepare and deliver the final examination and issue certificates),
Administrate EIT RawMaterials? learning management system, and be in charge of maintenance of the RawMatCop Academy course,
Help to promote the course, liaising with the communications team, and update marketing material online and print,
Identify experts in the field and further expand our network on earth observation for the raw materials sector (experts on remote sensing, possible contributors, invited speakers),
Create synergies with other initiatives and programmes related to remote sensing.
The ideal candidate has:
A bachelor degree in learning and education, ideally with a focus on andragogy, or a related topic.
Experience in professional learning and development, with a strong focus on online learning, ideally related to the raw materials sector, or a related sector.
Knowledge of instructional design and is capable of applying it to the development of a technical training programme for adult learners,
Experience with the administration of learning management systems and/or learning experience platforms to develop and maintain instructional programs that leverage new technologies and multimedia,
A minimum two-year professional experiences in learning and development for professionals.
Exceptional verbal and presentation skills.
Native-level English proficiency, with excellent writing skills.
Experience with project management. Familiarity with European projects is a plus.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Can-do, client-centric attitude as the KICs are partnership consortia with partners/clients from the private and public sectors.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Experience with website management, social media and online communications is an asset.
This is a temporary, half-time position. The E-learning Coordinator (m/f/d) reports to Professional Training Manager and will work closely with the Education and Innovation Department, the HQ and Innovation Hubs Teams, and with partners across Europe.
