The Building as a Grid (BG) Post Sale system project Engineer/Project Manager is in charge of the proper Post Sales Project execution from order reception to system commissioning. As a project Manager, He/She is in charge of the execution of the contract regarding quality, price/margin, and timing to reach customer satisfaction by planning, coordinating and managing all the different internal/external partner involved in the project. As a System Project Engineer, He/She own's the technical responsibility of the project. Together the Eaton Business Units, Eaton System Integration Service team, Eaton Engineering Team, and external partners, he is in charge of providing appropriate technical solutions, documentation and technical support to guaranty successful project execution according expected contractual performances, Leadtime and quality. Post-Sale system project Engineer/Project Manager reaches across many departments, working with the engineering team, the customer service team and the manufacturing team, the sales team, product management team, and application engineering team. Job Responsibilities : In order to Manage quality project execution, the Building as a Grid - Post Sale system project Engineer / Project Manager performs many different tasks : - Project Launch Phase Contract : - Handover from Sales & internal kick-off (Order entry, Technical input collection /validation (Q+SCM+Tech), site safety assessment, Delivery plant review) - External kick-off meeting - Deliverables, configuration & Procurement Phase : - Internal/external procurement / Manufacturing follow-up / FAT coordination (when need) - Change Management process - Project documentation customization / Doc Management, Submission, Archive / Doc review, comments coordination - EMS/CPO system parametrization - Internal/external project update follow-up - Follow-up & coordinate with installer/customer product delivery & logistics / Equipment reception on site - Installation & commissioning phase : - Site activity briefing & health and safety plan - Site Resource Scheduling (FSE/Sub-contractors) - Supervision of installation works, product installation check once finalized, Firmware update & comms set-up definition, Installation Handover to commissioning - System end to end testing supervision, site commissioning report supervision (done by FSE), - Supervision of Punch list and reserve withdrawal - Supervision of system hand over to customer/installer and training - Customer documentation : as built drawing delivery (DOE) - Final acceptance certificate and project completion - Transfer to service and warranty - Contribute to Eaton continuous improvement process: Project Feed-backs, lessons learn, continuous improvement, portfolio review, Voice of customer QualificationsQualifications : Education level required : A Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar. Years and area of experience required : Experience in application/System engineering, project management and French electrical installation in a sales environment, involving electrical power electronics and softwares. Technical knowledge : - Advanced knowledge architecture electrical and software application development, installation, and maintenance, preferably in Building as a Grid - Electrical installation Engineering / industrial automation / IT communication - Professional technical English speaking Soft skills : Customer orientation, hands-on problem solving, action and solution oriented, strong team work capabilities in a matrix organization, organized and organizer (capacity building) #LI-AS1
